Response to Sheila Jackson Lee’s interview with Off the Kuff
The link below is directed to Cong. Sheila Jackson Lee’s interview with Off the Kuff. She immediately states that her biggest accomplishment has been bringing jobs to the community. Here’s the quote: “I think bringing jobs back to this community over a long period of time."
The evidence does not substantiate her claim. If she had brought jobs to the 18th Congressional District, we wouldn’t have 35%* of all children living in poverty.
